Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
AgencyRater is operated by Taken Digital ("we," "us"). These terms govern your use of the site and the audits we deliver. By purchasing an audit or using the site, you agree to them. We keep them short and plain.
What the service is
We deliver an independent audit of the marketing channels your agency runs, such as email, SMS, Meta, Google, SEO, and CRO. The deliverable is a written report with a clear verdict, typically within five business days of when you grant the access we need. You can buy a single channel or the full stack at the prices listed on the site at the time of purchase.
What the service is not
- We are an independent reviewer. We are not affiliated with, paid by, or partnered with any agency we review, and we have nothing to sell you after the audit.
- The audit is our professional opinion based on the data you provide. It is not legal, financial, or tax advice, and it is not a guarantee of any business outcome.
- We do not act on your behalf, manage your accounts, or contact your agency unless you ask us to in writing.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and, where the audit requires it, read-only access to the relevant marketing platforms and reports.
- Confirm you have the authority to grant that access. You are responsible for ensuring access does not breach any agreement you have with your agency or platform.
- Respond to reasonable requests for information so we can complete the audit on time.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown on the site and charged in full at the time of purchase unless stated otherwise. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the audit you select.
Delivery
We aim to deliver within five business days of receiving the access and information we need. Delays caused by missing access or incomplete information extend that timeline. If we expect a material delay on our side, we will tell you.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Independence and no guarantee of results
Our findings and recommendations are advisory. We do not guarantee that acting on them will increase revenue, reduce cost, or produce any specific result, and we are not responsible for decisions you make about your agency or marketing based on the audit. The verdict is ours to give honestly; the decision is yours to make.
Confidentiality and your data
We treat your account data and the contents of your audit as confidential. We use the access you grant only to perform the audit, and we revoke that access once the report is delivered. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
Once paid, the report we deliver is yours to use inside your business. We retain ownership of our methodology, scoring framework, templates, and any general know-how, and nothing here transfers those to you. Please do not publish or resell the report as a standalone product without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the audit or the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the audit in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
